Dr. Fortes graduated magna cum laude from Rice University. He was also selected for membership into the exclusive Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society while at Baylor College of Medicine. He is currently a Diplomat of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and he is fluent in Spanish.
